I was super excited to try this pizza. I never bought it because it is more expensive than the other vegan frozen pizzas. But, I decided to splurge and get it. It is $9.39 at The Market at Lakeway in Bellingham, Washington. I love that the word vegan is in big letters on the box.
The first thing I noticed is that it is very light in weight. It is only 10.2 ounces while Amy’s pizzas are 13 ounces. It is a 10 inch pizza. On the website it calls the pizza family size even though it only contains 2 servings.
This is what the pizza looks like right out of the box. As you can see there isn’t a lot of sauce and it is a little heavy on the vegan cheese. Some of the ingredients include red wheat, cornmeal, diced tomatoes, onions, celery, carrots, Daiya and parsley.
260 calories are in 1 serving. In one serving there is 4 grams saturated fat, 750 mg. sodium, and 6 grams of protein.
The taste of the pizza is okay. The Daiya cheese is very overpowering. I wish there was more sauce and veggies. The actual flatbread is pretty good. There are a lot of positive reviews for this pizza online. But, overall my husband and I didn’t like it.
